Steve and Kate's Studios - Camps Within The Camp
Nestled inconspicously within Steve and Kate's Camp are seven mighty art and technology studios: Film Studio, Recording Studio, Performing Arts Studio, Sewing Studio, Culinary Arts Studio, Sculpture Studio, and Knitting Studio.
Inevitiably, campers venture into one or more of them. Inside, they find expert instructors, copious supplies and professional equipment. Much magic ensues.
These studios are so robust they could be camps unto themselves. That level of intensive learning goes on within them. The difference is, campers are drawn to the studios instinctively, not because their parents or a counselor chose them. As a result, they go deeper, become more engaged and emerge with greater confidence and a greater sense of accomplishment.
We're blown away at the initiative campers bring to the creative studios, whether they're fabricating a bead-encrusted skateboard helmet or developing a comedy sketch about humpback whales.
