Summer Positions Available

Summer Director: Summer directors manage the day-to-day operations of camp, communicate with parents and campers, supervise and support staff, evaluate activities, and oversee site maintenance. Prior leadership experience in a work environment is required. Complete Description.

Counselor: Counselors lead and engage children in a variety of recreational activities for six periods each day followed by an all-camp event. Additional responsibilities include participating in announcements, distributing lunch, and taking attendance.

Specialist: Specialists organize and lead a particular activity at camp. Specialists should be interested in guiding, teaching, and inspiring children in one of the these areas: Music Recording, Filmmaking, Ceramics, Sewing, Knitting, Jewelry Making, Performing Arts, Soccer, and Tennis.

Kindercamp Staff: Kindercamp Staff work with our youngest campers and participate in activities with them in order to give them additional support as they transition from preschool and home to the camp environment.

Concierge: Concierges devote their days to helping campers who need a little extra guidance. They give first-day campers a tour and an explanation of the schedule. They also help campers to choose an activity or find a new friend.

Office Staff: Office Staff are responsible for signing children in and out, basic first aid, answering phones, helping parents, and other administrative tasks. Office Staff should be comfortable multi-tasking, prioritizing, and interacting with campers and parents.

Equipment Manager: Equipment Managers are responsible for managing inventory, setting up and taking down equipment, organizing camper lunch, basic site cleanup, and trouble shooting equipment and supplies.
