13 Ways to Spend Your Summer at Camp
1. IF you're a people person who is interested in relationship building, customer service, managing staff and leading a progressive camp program, find out more about being a SITE DIRECTOR. All Site Director positions are filled for 2010.
2. IF you're a proven leader and problem-solver, are comfortable giving and receiving direction, and think you have what it takes to be the second in command, apply to be an ASSISTANT DIRECTOR. To apply, your resume and cover letter.
3. IF you are a beatbox master or a dance diva and want to share your craft with kids, find out how to be a PERFORMING ARTS SPECIALIST. We have filled all Performing Arts positions for this summer.
4. IF you bring oomph to everything you do, and think spending the day playing sports, singing karaoke, and building Legos sounds too good to be true, be a RECREATION SPECIALIST. These positions are filled at our Marin County and Berkeley sites, but we are still accepting applications for all other locations.
5. IF you cook up a storm and your culinary creations are worthy of Top Chef, be a COOKING SPECIALIST.
6. IF you're regularly found with a video camera in hand or pull all-nighters editing footage and you're itching to share your filmmaking knowledge with kids, we've got the job for you: FILMMAKING SPECIALIST.
7. IF your fingers are always drumming to the beat, you spend countless hours on GarageBand, or dream of being a radio producer, be a MUSIC RECORDING SPECIALIST.
8. IF you dream of being on Project Runway and have a closet full of handmade creations, our SEWING SPECIALIST position may be the "perfect fit."
9. IF your friends and family "couldn't possibly" accept another one of your knitted creations, we've got the outlet for you: be a KNITTING SPECIALIST.
10. IF Fimo and Sculpy are your best friends and clay creatures are taking over your home, be a SCULPTURE SPECIALIST. That's right, get paid to play with clay.
11. IF you ask to sit at the "kids table" at family reunions and still love "Green Eggs and Ham," you might be a match for our KINDERCAMP STAFF position.
12. IF you're everybody's friend, a shoulder to cry on, a peacekeeper, are confident working with children of all ages and don't shy away from challenges, you might be a great CONCIERGE.
