The icing on the cake

The daily specials expose campers to people, activities and animals they’re unlikely to meet at the mall. One day, it’s a concert by David Grisman; the next it’s a visit from Kgosi, one of only 30 King Cheetahs in the world; or mural painting on a massive 120-foot canvas. Of course it could also be a reptile show with a blue tongue skink and a python. Or cheese-making. Or an intro to special effects in film. Or soap-making and carving. Or game design. Over a complete summer, campers are treated to nearly 40 unique daily specials at each site.
